ReplyDeleteI hiked in the Big Sur several years ago, and will never forget sitting on a rock to eat lunch and seeing a stunning-looking golden California couple, each with a toddler on their backs, running in sports sandals through this steep, fairly rough and rocky mountain terrain. It spun my head around. I thought "gazelles." And I thought "dangerous."
